Hazel Gap Barn, Nottinghamshire

As a wedding photographer, sometimes the weather can be on your side and other days not so much. To say Lucy and Joe’s day was a mix of all weather conditions would be an understatement. We had heavy rain, hail, dark clouds, snow clouds and then finally beautiful harsh sunlight (one of my favourite conditions in which to work).

The day was filled with so much laughter and emotion it was extremely fulfilling to capture. Lucy and Joe had spent numerous hours making sure the details were just right. Basically I was kept on my toes all day. Which is brilliant from my perspective as it means there are far more things to capture!
